With the sudden announcement of the school merger on 8 April 2021, many of us were taken aback. While the physical space of Pioneer Primary School (PPS) will cease to exist at the end of 2021, the memories of this school will remain in the hearts of its people who have once crossed paths with her.

The Pioneer Primary Story is an interactive documentary detailing Pioneer Primary's last goodbye before embarking on a new beginning with Juying Primary School in 2022. The project aims to capture as many beautiful moments, sounds and stories in the physical space of PPS. It is also a virtual space for current staff, students and alumni to share their fondest memories.
